Before the Verdict is an independent student education project at beforetheverdict.com. This page explains the site’s contact tools and the services that help run it. Privacy questions can be sent to officialbeforetheverdict@gmail.com.
Reading the site
You do not need a student account to read the learning pages or use the fictional activities. This site runs on WordPress.com and uses Jetpack and Akismet. These services may process technical information such as an IP address, browser information, page visits, cookies, and information used to protect against spam or abuse. WordPress.com statistics help the site administrator understand visits.
See Automattic’s Privacy Notice for Visitors to Our Users’ Sites for information about these services, the data they process, and available choices. Browser settings can also control cookies, although blocking them can affect some features.
Practice tests
Your practice-test choices and scores are checked only in the open page. The tests do not send them to the project or store them. Refreshing clears your answers. The ordinary hosting and statistics information described above may still be processed when you visit the site.
Questions and feedback
The contact form is for general topic ideas, corrections, classroom feedback, and interview suggestions. It asks for a topic and message. An email address is optional if you want a reply. Do not include your full name, school, location, case number, or confidential details about yourself or anyone else.
Form submissions are processed through Jetpack, checked for spam, and made available to site administrators. They may also be sent to the site’s contact inbox. Messages sent directly by email are processed by the email provider. A submission is not a public comment, a confidential legal consultation, or a request for representation.
Younger readers
The learning pages can be read without sending personal information. Children under 13 should not use the form or email the project themselves; ask a parent, guardian, or teacher to send a general question instead. The form asks the sender to confirm they are at least 13. Do not send information identifying children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact the project so the administrator can review and remove it from the systems they control.
Student and teacher feedback
The feedback forms ask which resource you used and what could be clearer. The teacher form also offers optional grade bands, participation ranges, ways the resource was used, and whether you would use it again. These are class-level reports, not verified counts of unique students or evidence of an exam-score improvement. Correction reports ask for the page or question and a public source when available. Names and student scores are not requested. An optional email is only for a reply.
How messages are used
Messages help the project respond, correct errors, choose topics, and improve learning materials. They are not permission to publish your identity or quote your message. Classroom feedback should be about the class as a group, without student names or identifiable student work.
Storage and requests
Submissions can remain in the WordPress response dashboard, the contact inbox, and provider backups. To ask about a message you sent, or request its correction or deletion, use the contact email and identify the message without adding sensitive details. The administrator can address records under their control; service providers manage their own records and backups under their policies. Do not send identification documents.
Other websites
Resource links take you to independent websites with their own privacy practices. This project does not control those services. Before creating an account or submitting information elsewhere, review that site’s requirements with a trusted adult when appropriate.
Changes
This page may be revised when the site’s tools or practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. For content standards, see How This Site Works.
